About Me...............

Welcome  to Quilts Galore and More.  My name is Deborah Soborski, owner of Quilts Galore and More.

My site is all about handcrafted gifts, such as quilts, pillows, personalized gifts, tote bags, accessories and wall hangings. 

I have a passion for quilting and for making handcrafted gifts.  I specialize in high quality baby quilts and pillows.  I have been quilting for over seven years and sewing for much longer! 

 I am a Paralegal by profession and a Quilter/Artisan by passion.  Ever since I began quilting, I just couldn't get enough of it and decided to expand my passion which slowly grew into the birth of my website.  It is more fun to quilt with others, so then I decided to offer my site to other quilters to sell on consignment along my side on this site.  If you would like to sell with us, please follow the Sell link above for more details.

I am proud to say that my site is now donating a portion of all its by Quilts Galore and More to cancer research.  I lost my dad to lung cancer over a year ago. I can't tell you how many times we told him to quit smoking, he finally did quit, the day he was diagnosed, unfortunately it was too late.  It is so important to find a cure for cancer, it is a horrible disease and no one should have to suffer through any disease.  I feel that we can make a difference and that I can make a difference by donating to cancer research in hopes to get closer to a cure.  It is also important to educate ourselves on healthy living and I will be expanding my website to include much needed resources.

All the items offered on this site are handcrafted and made in the U.S.A.   I also have a passion for cross-stitch, so from time to time you may see a quilted gift combined with cross-stitch.   Many of my items are custom-made to your specifications.  When ordering, you can either order the item exactly as is in the picture when available.  Please include your color scheme or room theme with an e-mail simultaneously with your on-line purchase.  Our e-mail address is posted on top of each and every page for your convenience.  I will send pictures of sample swatches of material so you can choose exactly what you like.

When you purchase one of our quilts, you are purchasing a specialty item.  All blocks are rotary cut for exact precision, hand pieced for accuracy, and machine quilted for professionalism.  Many hours go into designing and creating our quilts.  All of our quilts are made with quilters 100% premium cotton fabric to meet our high standards in quality.  We use hyper-allergenic quilt batting.  All quilts are handcrafted and designed by me.  All items are professionally made and inspected for superior quality.
